The Peppertree takes its name from the grove of Pepper Trees (Schinus molle) which line the drive leading to the gracious Edwardian Villa. Built in 1901 from native timbers, The Peppertree is located in 10 acres of farmland and surrounded by an extensive country garden.
Stroll around the lovely garden planted with native trees and soak up the birdsong, fresh air and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, perhaps followed by a bottle of Marlborough’s world famous Sauvignon Blanc consumed on the wisteria-clad verandah.
Choose from one of the five spacious suites, each of which reflects a different character. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Two rooms open out onto Peppertree’s private garden. Days at The Peppertree begin with a delicious country breakfast, served in the Dining Room or on the verandah.
Restored to its former glory The Peppertree affords guests the highest quality exclusive accommodation, relaxed, comfortable surroundings and some of the world’s finest wines.
